About Telsim NBN® Service

Telsim uses networks provided by NBN® and Telstra®. Telsim NBN® provides a variety of NBN® plans to cater to different needs. These NBN® plans vary in speed, data allowances, and pricing, allowing customers to choose the option that best suits their home internet requirements. 

Home Phone (VOIP) Service

Telsim do not provide Home Phone (VOIP) Service. 

Billing & Payments

When you place your order for a Home Internet service with Telsim, a payment verification charge of $1 may be debited from your nominated card. This will be credited back to you. Continuing monthly fees for your Service and Plan are required, payable upfront each month. The Service operates on a month-to-month basis until either party decides to terminate as per our Agreement. Your nominated card will be auto debited on your recharge date. 

New Installation Charges

The NBN® may charge a $300 new development fee for the cost of deploying network infrastructure to new premises or dwellings. This fee may be applied to each new premises requiring a NBN® connection. This includes, but is not limited to, new dwellings, lots under reconstruction, and new buildings requiring a new mailing address which will be informed upon signup if this fee may apply. 

Changing your plan is free

The plan can be changed at any time for no fee. If the plan is upgraded before the end of the monthly billing cycle, full new plan price has to be paid. If the plan is downgraded before the current plan, no prorata refunds will be processed. Battery Back-up

Telsim do not provide battery backup for Telsim NBN Service. You should be aware of the implications of a mains power outage: 

  1. Your Network Termination Device (NTD) will not function. 
  2. Your internet connection will not operate. 
  3. Your back-to-base alarm system or medical alarm which relies on an internet connection will not work. 
  4. Your mobile phone should be fully charged just in case you need to make emergency calls. 

Cancelling your service

  • You can cancel your plan by calling us on 1300835746. When you cancel, your service will be disconnected immediately. We won’t refund any money you’ve already paid, and you’ll need to pay out any remaining hardware or accessories in full when you cancel. There are no exit fees for this service.
